143: What is a Prat?

I ask this question even though I (partly) know the answer.

I am not quite sure what a prat its but I know TOWTSH is one.

TOWTLH told me so - and told TOWTSH so, in what I believe is termed ‘rich, colourful language’.

I, of course, listened carefully.

It’s not that I’m nosy but I’m always trying to develop my language skills.

Evidently, TOWTSH recently spen lot of money (a LOT of money) on a new car - one of these new-fangled electric ones.

This this week he bumped in, causing damage.

His story is that he was taking me for a walk (trying to shift the blame, I think) and when parking in Mansion lane, he hit an  invisible lamp-post.  His insurance company won’t let him drive it till it’s been checked out (and that is taking some tinme.)
